Today : :

Today : :  I'm making room on my new studio shelving for these lovelies! They definitely make the cut! All from my Sponsor Pink Castle Fabric -- we have Moda Cross Weave in Ocean, Wasabi, and Coral. As well as, a little Robert Kaufman Metro Living Circles in Chartreuse, Marigold Yellow, and Pewter Grey (my favorite).

I'm not one to ever stash solids, you may have noticed,  but after working on my Bottled Rainbows Quilt I see how useful and necessary they are to have handy. The Cross Weave have a little texture and something special that makes them a unique solid. I guess this is me easing into solid stashing!

Today : : I'm finishing up a new tutorial for a simple pillow cover -- My Favorite Colors Stripey Toss Pillow. A project designed to showoff your favorite color combinations that's quick, easy, and turns out super cute! It's a great project for a beginner quilter (like me), if you want a project to practice sewing straight lines with your machine (like me), and also great if you need to get a little hand quilting practice in (like me).

Here's a little peek! I'm using my fabrics from yesterdays color inspiration post -- from my stash, scraps from my Bottled Rainbows Quilt, and a few of those new prints from my Sponsor Pink Castle Fabrics.

  1. I am in love with this idea. I really like the hand-stitched portion. Gives the cover a bohemian feel. Looking forward to your tutorial. Visiting from Final Clothes Out blog (:
