I'm sure it's obvious by now that I have quite an affection for woodland creatures. It's true, I do! I am sure it has something to do with where I live and is no doubt influenced greatly by my children and their own love of the woods. But really, it's just because of the how absolutely cute I find anything woodland to be. It's a trend for sure, so I know it's not just me.
Yesterday I decided to make two new Fox pillows. My original pillow was a big hit here and won second place in the Celebrate Color event in September, so why not! I had sold my first one recently, so I figured offering this pillow in my etsy shop might be a great idea. I had to make a pink one!
And, a new one just like my first, too.
I finished them off with Hugs & Kisses, I love this print!
I'm also enjoying my new Outfoxed from The Intrepid Thread. I just can't decide what these fabrics should become? I am torn between pillow cases, for me! Or a new bag, for me! Or perhaps both? Yes, I think that might be best.
Lizzy's fox -- so cool!
And her hedgehogs -- so cute!
I'm linking up with Quiltstory today for Fabric Tuesday! Be sure to let me know if you're a fan of all things woodland, too! Happy sewing, friends!
I love your fox pillows!
ReplyDeleteIt looks lovely.
ReplyDeleteEsther.
Aw the pillows are adorable. Love both color combos of the little fox pillows. Your stacks of marvelous print fabrics are wonderful, I could see that it would be a dilemma to decide on what to make with them and even harder to part with them.
ReplyDeleteOh! I love the woodland stuff too.
ReplyDeleteI actually found your blog through pinterest because someone pinned the fox pillow. And now, I follow your blog!
sooo cute :-)
ReplyDeletewell I like owls....any animals are cute though

ReplyDeleteHi, I'm visiting from Fabric Tuesday. These are so gorgeous, they have such cute faces.
ReplyDeletePersonally I prefer the darker background but whenever I see that little fox it makes me oh-so-happy. One day I'll have to give in!
ReplyDeleteoh those are cute!!!!!!I buy new fabric before I know what I'm going to make then I don't want to cut it hehehe. LOVE The woodlands!
ReplyDeleteThe fox is adorable - and I love the Lizzy fabric. We're huge fans of the woodland stuff at my house, too.
ReplyDeleteThey are adorable Maureen!!
ReplyDeleteI'm a huge woodland creature fan! My daughter's room is all decked out in woodland swag. I thought it was because I live in the desert and you always want what you can't have, but it sounds like it doesn't matter where you live, everyone loves the woods and her critters!
ReplyDeleteI've always liked your foxes! The pillows are adorable!
ReplyDeleteSo cute! I'm sure you've seen Riley Blake's Fox Trails. I love that fabric. I just made Owen a quilt using it.
ReplyDeleteI adore the Outfoxed fabric! My aunt has (very generously!) said she'll be gifting me a fat quarter bundle for Christmas - I can't quite decide what to make, either!
ReplyDeleteYou are a pillow goddess! Seriously, I love ever single one! Thanks so much for sharing!! And yes, woodland creatures are super cute!
ReplyDeleteI live in the woods and like you, love the creatures we share this space with - including foxes! We've even been trapped indoors for a bit by 2 skunks getting frisky on our front porch. I'm saving my Outfoxed FQ's for a post-holiday project for me!
ReplyDeleteSo cute - foxes are said to represent mothers :)
ReplyDeleteI adore the fabric choices!
Outfoxed pillow cases would be too cute!
ReplyDelete"Pretty foxy" -- one of my mother's sayings.
ReplyDeleteYep, I'm equally smitten with woodland creatures. I picked up some Outfoxed recently, and have barely cut into them! I'm just enjoying looking at them for the moment! And your fox pillows are always adorable, Maureen!
ReplyDeleteI did think directly of you the first time I saw Lizzy's new collection! Enjoy :)
