Just before Christmas The LookBook for my brand new collection with Art Gallery Fabrics, Garden Dreamer, was released and I hope you'll enjoy taking a peek! Inside you'll find each print of this dreamy collection on display in the form of dozens of inspirational projects from creative bags, to beautiful garments and quilts! Today I want to showcase some of the amazing quilting cotton projects featured in the Lookbook to get you inspired for Garden Dreamer quilting!
One of my favorite photos from the Lookbook is found right on the cover -- a whimsical garden bench featuring the Wind Chime quilt pattern that I designed to showcase this new collection!
I was so thrilled when my rolls of this collection arrived, right away I started a new quilt using each of the twenty quilting cotton prints with lots of colorful Pure Element solids. I have so many quilt pattern ideas for this collection and each one is so different from the next. I knew that starting with my simple herringbone Quick Quilt As You Go quilt would be such a great way to showoff the pretty color palette of Garden Dreamer!
In the Lookbook you will also find TWO free PDF quilt patterns! My Wind Chime quilt was also designed to showcase all twenty of my Garden Dreamer quilting cotton prints. This pattern was inspired by thoughts of being in the garden, looking up at the wind chimes and spinners dancing in the breeze. It's a simple pattern and I love the movement of these blocks! You can download the pattern for yourself right, HERE!
This second PDF pattern, Impressions, was designed by the talented AGF Studio girls and features a happy collection of Garden Dreamer brights. This colorful, X quilt pattern is such a fun way to use these prints with white! To download this pattern simply click HERE!
You all know how much I LOVE making pillows! In the LookBook you'll find several examples of applique, patchwork, and pillowcases to inspire your Garden Dreamer pillow-making!
I'm overjoyed that Garden Dreamer is finally here! It started shipping to stores last month, so be sure to check and see if your favorite shop is carrying it. As usual, I'm trying my best to keep a running list of online and brick & mortar shops who have it stocked on my SHOP My Fabrics page!
I can't wait to see all the things you're going to create with this new collection! To ensure I don't miss a thing, please remember to use the collection hashtag #GardenDreamerFabrics and to tag me @maureencracknell when you share anything Garden Dreamer on Instagram. Feel free to upload your Garden Dreamer stash and project photos to my Maureen Cracknell Handmade Facebook page, as well!
To celebrate this release I'm planning a BIG Giveaway, but first I'll be back soon to share some of the amazing garments that were featured in the LookBook, along with more of my own projects to get you inspired to sew with Garden Dreamer!
Thank you all for your continued support, encouragement, & love! ♡ Maureen
