A Boho Artisan Quilt Top : :

Today's the first day of the new school year! The kids were so excited and happy. For the first time ever, we're all equally ready to get back to a routine after a very fun, adventure-filled Summer! You can see them all smiles this morning over on my Instagram, our 7th, 6th, and 3rd graders! As for me, it's always bittersweet and it helps for me to keep extra busy these first few days.

Enter Artisan, the beautiful new collection by designer Pat Bravo for Art Gallery Fabrics!

Artisan Fabrics

For the past couple of weeks I've been working with these gorgeous fabrics behind the scenes, creating a somewhat complex quilt design full of tiny patchwork squares, I'll share more on that next month. Since I haven't quite had my fill of Artisan just yet and because it's impossible for me to wait that long to share something made with these wonderful fabrics, I thought it would be fun to design a quick sew. A quilt that's simple to make, but still allows each unique Artisan print to shine!

Love these colors!

Just an easy strip pieced pattern, alternating rectangle striped blocks with herringbone blocks. A straightforward pattern that creates such an eye-catching, bohemian style quilt!

Boho Artisan Quilt

I especially love the colors. It reminds me of a clear blue sky on a warm Fall day!

Artisan Quilt Making

The perfect complement to these changing days and the season that's upon us. I should have it finished just in time!

    1. Yes! It might not be available until November, but it will definitely be a free pattern as part of a special, secret project! :) I'll be sure to share all the details here on my blog once it's all ready!

      Thanks! XO

  5. I, too, have been called a BOHO girl so especially appreciate anything like this! It's beautiful, Maureen. I'm a craftster extraordinaire like you and can't satisfy my creative appetite. I'm always looking for ideas I can spin off of so will be checking back with you frequently. Sew on my gypsy BOHO friend!
