I am so excited about this PINK collection! In February, I will celebrate 10 years as a Breast Cancer Survivor. I had Stage 3 with lymph node involvement and it wasn't looking good. Today, like each day, I take time to do what I love, sewing. Some days more time than others, but each day time in my Studio is what makes me happiest!

ReplyDeleteThis a beautiful way to honor survivors and remember those who didn't. My mother was diagnosed with cancer at 47. She went through 7 different series of chemo and 5 series of radiation. She fought with everything she had. It was terrible seeing her suffer so much and knowing she was doing it for the ones she loved.She died at 59.I'm 58 now. If I was to win this, I'd make a quilt in memory of Mama. I miss her dearly even after all these years. She was one special lady.

Just last week my aunt was diagnosed with breast cancer, again, it's now in her other breast. Mastectomy this Thursday. Thank you for helping to bring awareness to this horrible disease.
