  5. Thank you Maureen. The quilt is beautiful. Perhaps my coveted Denyse Schmidt fabric will get cut for this quilt. I am thrilled that you spent your time to make a PDF of this quilt pattern. You're the best!

  10. Thanks for the PDF. I have a question. Am I lining up the first fabric strip exactly on the line I drew, and then sewing 1/4 inch from that line? So each sewn line will be 1/4" from the actual line drawn. It's probably obvious to everyone, but I'm still a beginner. Thanks.

You are very talented and I have been following you for a while now - I love your quilts and now I just need to quit my job and quilt.

  14. Maureen thank you sew much for this pattern!! I use Warm and Natural Batting I think that will work with this as I haven't had any trouble with ironing it! But will it run smoothly while quilting it with no backing? Thank you again you have inspired me to do large quilts again!!

    1. The ironing was the only concern I had with Warm & Natural, since I didn't have any here to test out. As far as sewing with it smoothly without a backing -- you should be fine!!

    2. Thank you Maureen!! I will test it again to make sure! But I have used a hot steamy iron when I QSYG with W & N and some other batting I have used too!! Never melted or too much drag with the iron!! I did table runners not quilts!! Now I will try quilts!!

      Thank you, Hugs, Jan

    1. You're very welcome! I hope it prints out fine for you. The first time I printed it out, it looked great with just a few spacing adjustments needed. I made those and then the second time it printed my photos looked a little pixilated. I hope it's OK! I have a lot to learn when it comes to this computer stuff! :)
