I have just a few more photos that I wanted to share today of my shelf organizing! The hours are flying by faster than ever and I can't seem to remember to stop and take any pictures until after dark each day, which happens way too early this time of year for us blogger's doesn't it?! So... all my photos have that not-so-lovely, blurry, orange-y glow, but I'm still going to share them anyways!!
This morning, I feel like by next Monday I will be ready and excited to give a little tour of the rooms I have unpacked. I can't believe I still have to plan Thanksgiving today, ahhh!!!
What I really, really would love, is to share a little series right here of what I make for each of the rooms. Maybe a weekly or bi-weekly sewing project or craft, specifically for decorating a home? I have lots and lots of ideas and plans!! All I can think of right now is to call it, "Handmade Home," but that's already a book on my shelf! lol "Making a Handmade Home".... "Creating a Handmade Home"??? Got any ideas???
Thanks in advance for the help!! And, for all the sweet comments yesterday and always! This is truly an amazing time for us right now! All the well wishes and support from you all, our community, and family has been so, so wonderful!! Thank you!

how about Home Made
ReplyDelete:) Thanks Laura!! See...that's perfect!
DeleteI love the idea of this series. I like the suggestion commenter Laura (#1) has to use "Home Made". Cute.
ReplyDeleteI agree! Thanks Kristan!!
Deletei love these pictures! so happy, so cozy. i love your idea of doing a ongoing home decorating series. i love it but dont really have any good names for it... sorry! xo i am so happy you are so happy!
ReplyDeleteUau!!!
ReplyDeleteLooking good, Moe! I can't wait for the tour!
ReplyDeleteLOVELY!!!!!!!!!!! FABRIC=Yummies
ReplyDeleteVery beautiful organization.
ReplyDeleteLaura knocked it out of the park. No way I can top that...but I do have a question. Why are there a pair of pink tennis shoes in your fabric cabinet? Feel free to tell me it is none of my business, I am just curious!
ReplyDeleteThose are the shoes I used for my Rock N' Romance Scrappy Shoelace Tutorial! http://maureencracknellhandmade.blogspot.com/2012/10/a-scrappy-patchwork-shoelace-tutorial.html
DeleteI haven't worn them yet, they are too pretty!! :)
I remember the tutorial but you need to wear them BECAUSE they are so pretty! LOL
DeleteTrue!!! :)
DeleteYep Home Made is a grest name for a great series idea! You are making leaps and bounds!
ReplyDeleteI'm in agreement ~ Home Made. Everything looks lovely ~ I would expect nothing less ~ you've got such an eye for style.
ReplyDeleteI could sure use someone to come to my house and help me organize. I'm out of control!
I like "Home Made" sounds who you are and being yourself with your HOME MADE by you!
ReplyDeleteYou must have been working like a Trojan to have unpacked so quickly and have your house looking like a home so quickly. LOVED these peeks into your new space :)
ReplyDeleteI'm going to show this to my husband... "see, other people have cupboards full of fabric too. It's 'NORMAL'"!!!
ReplyDeleteI love it--it already looks like you've lived there forever. In a good way--like homey and eclectic and established. I can't wait to see your new series. And I agree that Home Made is a great title!
ReplyDeleteLooking lovely my friend! Even with the blurry orangey-ness!! LOL =D
ReplyDeleteI think you've got your answer already! Just in case, what about MAureen Cracknell Home Made or Cracknell Cottage or Cracknell Cottage Crafts?
ReplyDeleteOkay here in the U.K. we have a program called 'Homemade Home' and I think that would be a perfect name. I love the woman who presents it - her name is Kirsty Allsop and she is amazing. The first year she went and did various crafts, the second year she did up a home she bought and that was awesome, last year she entered all kinds of competitons of things she had made and this year she is doing another series called Home Made Home! PERFECT IMHO
ReplyDeleteI just can't wait to see what you make!! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI can't believe you're getting unpacked and organized so fast! I look forward to the tour and the series.
ReplyDeleteHome Sewn - kind of a twist on Home Grown? I would love to read a weekly post about your adventures in decorating your home :)
ReplyDeleteHow about instead of Handmade Home you use Home, Handmade?
ReplyDeleteI'm so delighted to hear that you are all moved into your new home. Exciting times, for sure. Busy times. Remember to take good care of yourself and your family.
With good thoughts coming your way...
Patsy
I think all the name suggestions are good. I don't know how you get unpacked so quickly. I'd still have boxes all over. Probably still have one or two from 20 years ago that haven't been unpacked! Maybe it's time to take a trip to Goodwill?!
ReplyDeleteHow about My Home - Handmade!
ReplyDeleteLovely pictures. thank you for sharing
I was going to suggest Home-Making, but I kind of like Laura's.
ReplyDeleteIt looks so lovely and cosy with the orangey glow :o) Love your family poster too!
ReplyDeleteI vote for something like "Cracknell Home Made" or something similar(so its uniquely yours:))
ReplyDeletehugs xo
Happy and Home Made? I love the framed 'Cracknell est 02'. Such a great idea - is it 3D or prints?
ReplyDeleteLove it. Yes Laura's suggestion is great.
ReplyDeleteMY warped Aussie sense of humor instantly thought "A Cracker Home" (as in Cracknell and being 'cracker' or great - awesome- wonderful.)
Beautiful rooms views, so organized and calling for creativity!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the new home and moving in! The house looks great already, can't wait to see your series. I love the Home Made name and also Cracknell Home Made or Home Made Cracknell Style :) whatever you decide, I'm sure it will be great!
ReplyDeleteYour new home is looking gorgeous! What a beautiful space to share as a family. Have fun naming your craft series. Can't wait to see what you come up with. Simply Homemade? Jacinta
ReplyDeleteSo warm and inviting. Congratulations! Can you share where you had the "last name" print made? I love it and it would make a great gift for my husband.
ReplyDeleteI've saved first two photos to have the arguments for people who say I have too much fabric:)
