I noticed just after the holidays that my fabric stash is seriously lacking two things -- purple and solids. Since then, I've been keeping my eye out for pretty purples (and solids). I just stashed these Art Gallery fabrics from Moona Fabrics and they have me wanting more!

Art Gallery -- LOVE!

Don't they look so pretty in the sunlight? It definitely makes me think of Spring!

Art Gallery -- LOVE!

Slowly I hope to add many of the purples below to my stash -- they're all Art Gallery Fabrics by Patricia Bravo, and they are all so gorgeous!

My creation

How about some more Purple & in the form of a music video? What? Yup! Check it out, Art Gallery Fabrics put together the cutest little video to showcase their new Poetica line. I love it!

Cute! Right? I'm sold and very excited to be offering the Purple & Blue colorway of Poetica right here in a new giveaway beginning Friday! Be sure to stop back!!

How about you? What color(s) are you loving these days?

Happy Wednesday, friends!!

  3. I love the entire rainbow, rather than any one colour in particular. I'm doing an Innocent crush quilt for my granny right now though, and I'm appreciating the purple/blue combo in it.

  8. Sigh... such lovely, lovely fabric. Purple and all it's variations is my absolute favorite color. It makes me feel relaxed and beautiful. I have a lovely set of purple and orange fabric sitting next to me right now. When I have a pretty bundle like this, I like to enjoy it and appreciate it simply for it's beauty before I cut it up and use it. Then I can appreciate it in a totally new context. I love fabric. Have a beautiful day Maureen! :)

  9. Wow, cute video! I like the tote bag too....the larger one.
Lately I've been drawn to all sorts of yellows! Perhaps because the sun is on its way back. Even better when you close your eyes and face the sun.

  14. Purple is one of my favorite colors even though my wife keeps telling me it should not be. Last week I completed my 2nd purple dragonfly quilt and they look fantastic. Come to think about it I should grab all my purple scraps and make me some granny square blocks out of them tonight.

  26. I know I'm late to the party, but am loving your mosaic! Purple and yellow and purple and red are two of my favorites for purple. You used a lot of pale purples here, which I'm not usually drawn to. Good!

    Also, I WANT Poetica.
