Color Love { and a Giveaway Winner! } : :

I've been reading everywhere that Tangerine will be the color of 2012. What do you think, do you like it?

tangerine + grey + teal + black

Personally, I am loving it! Especially the combination of tangerine + grey + teal + black! I am seeing these colors everywhere on Pinterest.

I combined this past weekend's giveaway bundle with my favorite bundle of Lotta Jansdotter's Echo Collection and it makes me so happy! My husband really likes them, too - Yes! I may have finally found my bedroom fabrics!

I still love grey with any and every color. And, I've always loved black.

So, what do you think? Is tangerine & teal the new red & aqua?

and I'm in the middle of re-doing one our downstairs bathrooms in grey and a teal-ish robin egg! ((grey is my new white!))

  7. I posted a note about tangerine when I read it in the news too before Christmas, orange is NO a color I like at all, then this weekend I met some quilting friends who were looking at buttons and the tangerine ones were right next to the turqouise, that actually looked good and now with grey it looks GREAT!!

  11. It definitely seems like it is the new red and aqua. It will be nice to see it being used for more than just Halloween and Thanksgiving decorations!

  13. I like your pinterest mosaic and fabric choice. I didn't notice the whole orange/teal/grey thing going on until I realised that I somehow ended up picking a whole collection of it as my selection for the Quokka Quilts blogger choice FQ bundle. I must have been subliminally converted as they are not my usual colours at all!

  15. I'm really not an orange person, but I really do like it with the teal and gray. I'll have to make something and then I'll probably like it better.

  17. Congratulations to Jezibels! I do like the oranges and jumped into color for the first time with it. I found a beautiful fall leaf at a state park, a color I immediately fell in love with. I took it to the paint shop and had them match the color for my great room. What a shock it was to everyone, me going from plain white or light blue walls to brilliant fall orange! These would be perfect as accents. I'll have to look for them!

  19. Maureen, you are so brave and cheerful! I admire your work immensely, and am so sorry to hear about your health struggles! Somehow I like to imagine all my online crafty friends as perfect and happy and spending all their time in their sewing rooms stitching up more stuff to inspire me:) The fact is that you're all living real lives, but it still makes me feel really bad...on the other hand, having a creative hobby and talent to make pretty things like you have, can be a real boost too!

    I'll pray for you...
