Pendant Fabric Bunting : :

I have been experiencing some computer troubles lately and therefore wasn't able to share my last weeks celebrate the boy  item. I just loved the way the scalloped fabric bunting turned out and so I was excited to make this pendant bunting for one of my boy themed projects.
I knew I had to use some of my vintage bias tape, although I do recommend always using the extra wide rather than the fine that I had on hand.
These scissors are such a treasure of mine --- they were my Great Grandmother's, then my Grandmother's and now mine. To say that I love them is an understatement, is that silly?
I am aware that I am lacking posts lately. I have so much to share but am struggling to find that time I need to do so here. This Thursday is the beginning of our family vacation, so I will be stepping away for some much needed celebrating and hopefully a little relaxation. I will be back August 9th --- I wish you all a lovely stretch of days and happy creating until then!

  5. Yes, Leyla, they are double sided - two triangles sewn right sides together and then turned out through the opening at the top, which is hidden and closed when you add the bias tape. Remember - use extra wide! :)

  10. Love the scissors and their history. Lovely blog and happy to follow and see what you get up too.I am lucky in that I have a room I can just leave and shut the door but have experienced the packing up bit and it's a real drag to say the least especially when you are in the middle of a large project. But your doing a great job.

  12. I just made one for my husbands cousin a few weeks ago and was surprised it took a little longer than i expected. But I also top stitched mine and maybe that takes too long?

I'm wondering what size yours are? I used the 6/5 inch triangle ruler.

and i love the quilt you are working on too! - kg
