Mini Totes : : for the shop

Today is the fist day that I started my blog. I am hoping this is a good way to connect with some fellow artists and mothers, who love creating as much as I do. This is going to be a slow moving work in progress, as I learn both how to use this and figure out what it is exactly that I want to do. I decided that I am going to start from today and so the work and news that I share will start from today as well. So...here I go...

The last few days of this week have been busy with making some new items for my etsy shop . New items with new ideas. I have the need to change and branch off a little from the dolls and dollhouse making I'm used to. I love getting all the requests for custom orders ~ it challenges me and means so much that you think of me when you want to give a special child something you know they'll love, but often I get so carried away with taking on those orders, there's no time left for new things. So...I'm letting go a little. Tricky...but oh, so good. It leaves a lot more room for sitting. And thinking. And taking in all those good new ideas (i hope).

What a good little helper Haila was the morning of taking pictures. All I had to do was promise her a little something... ha ha

I only had enough felted wool to make four mini tote bags, this was the forth. Kevin says I need to move on to a new woodland creature...I'm thinking the squirrel??? I know I'm not going to be able to let go of the owl just yet. Mainly because I have about twenty knitted, waiting to be felted.

Well, I hope you enjoy the few new items I can offer so far. There will be lots more to come... Would love to here any ideas you may have, feel free to leave me a comment.
