An Aurifil & Fabric GIVEAWAY : :

Since first my blogging, and then my sewing, three-year Anniversaries came and went sometime since the New Year without much thought, and because I'm still considering all the wonderful suggestions given under my post on Monday, I think it's the perfect day for a little spontaneous, midweek Giveaway!

Aurifil & Fabric Giveaway!

I stashed this lovely bundle of fabric from Bloomerie recently -- A few Type prints, Marmalade Stripes, several Lizzy House prints, and more! There are eighteen - 1/4 yd cuts in total, and I thought it would be a nice treat to chop these in half and share this bundle with one of you!

Last week, the generous folks at Aurifil sent me these sampler packs of their wonderful threads to Giveaway to my readers, each containing five colorful spools! I'm thrilled to offer up five of these today, as well!!

    I have been sewing since I was a little girl. My mom used to make clothes and then got into commercial bag sewing. I jumped in and she taught me how and now we enjoy sewing together. I do not have a blog, but I follow many blogs on Reader. Thank you for this opportunity :) Angela

    I began sewing about 10 years ago. I also have a blog I never use. I found out I was pregnant with my second child just after starting it, and now that I'm a mom of 2 I just don't find the time to post. I don't know how all you super women do it all...parent, work, blog, sew.

    I learned to sew when I was a kid, and pulled out my mom's sewing machine for the odd project through high school. Then, 7 years ago my godmother gave me a quilt top she had gotten at an estate sale and I figured out how to add a back and quilt it and bind it and that piqued my interest. Over the next 4 years, I made a baby quilt and a queen sized quilt, and then I was hooked -- now I quilt whenever I can get time to myself!

    I will have blogged for an entire complete 6 years next month and will start my 7th year then. I have been sewing for over 45 years and made my first quilt 40 years ago but it didn't turn out well and really got serious about 25 years ago with quilting.
