Today's Fleet & Flourish Blog Tour guest is my sweet friend, Nicke Cutler of Kiss Kiss Quilt! Nicke and I have been friends for years, she's one of the kindest, most genuine people in the online sewing community that I've had the pleasure of spending time with in "real life." There's a million & one reasons to adore her, but when it comes to sewing ~ it's her bag-making-skills that I love the most! (she knows this about me) And so, I'm beyond thrilled to have two Nicke bags to share with you all today!
First up is Nicke's amazing patchwork version of the Make Your Getaway Duffle by Gingercake!
Since I'm a quilter first, when I design fabrics I immediately think of patchwork. How all twenty prints and colors will work together in the most simple mishmash of tiny squares ~ quilts and pillows! When I saw the first image of this bag, I gasped, it's a quilter's dream bag! I'm SO in love with it!
But, Nicke didn't stop there! She continued sending me images of a second bag, her most favorite bag to make ~ a Noodlehead Poolside Tote!
This one is made in Nicke's favorite Fleet & Flourish prints with the addition of a little lace trim!
