The Sewcial Bee Sampler Sew-Along: Block 23!

Once again this week before I share our week TWENTY THREE block, Sharon and I are asking for a little help to better help us to understand what you're looking for in future sew-alongs. We've prepared an 8-answer survey and we'd really appreciate you taking the time to help us out! Today's free download is for block #23: Friendship Star. I'll be sure to add this new pattern to my Sewcial Bee Sampler Page with the previous week's patterns. It's a great place to start for those of you just discovering our bee, where you can easily find everything you need to begin the SBS Sampler right in one place! For my version of this week's Friendship Star block I used two Nightfall prints, Magical Gust Crisp & Nox Iridescence Aglow with one of my Garden Dreamer plaid blender colorings, Terra Firma Sunlit. I LOVE this happy yellow paired with peachy-pink and teal!

This week's block revisits the make 2-at-a time HST method and is another great opportunity to add a fussy cut motif to the center star if you'd like. I chose to frame a sweet Nightfall dragonfly this time. The 2.5" square patch is the perfect size for the scale of this print and my little dragonfly seems to float amidst the details in my Magical Gust print!





This block includes a larger frame and comes together super quick, I could make these Friendship Stars all day!
