Garden Dreamer Knits : :

My Garden Dreamer knits are here and I love, love, LOVE them!

Garden Dreamer Knits

In the photo above from left to right we have Sprinkled Peonies, Bumble Beez, Diamond Fragments, Twinklestar Berry, and Climbing Posies! I'd love to know which one is your favorite?

These knits are so incredibly soft, I'm dying to cut into them! Since I don't sew garments, I'm trying to come up with a list of non-garment sewing projects for these. If you have any ideas, please feel free to share in the comments!

Here's a quick peek at the new AGF selvages! They've gotten an updated design with a slightly wider width and new artwork to match each designer's style. I'll be sure to share more once my Garden Dreamer quilting cottons arrive this week!

knit selvage LOVE!

I can't wait to read which knit you like best and if you have any projects ideas to share with me! I'll be back tomorrow with a list of sales, so be sure to stop back!

  1. Baby receiving blankets are a wonderful use for knits. Use a double layer, bound around the edges, like a quilt but without batting, I don't sew garments any more either but these gorgeous knits are luring me! I do love your designs!

  2. Ooh, I really love your Twinklestar berries print! I haven't sewn a garment with knits but I'd be tempted to try a really simple skirt. Maybe an infinity scarf too? Also, if you knit or crochet I've seen some neat projects made with "yarn" made from knit fabric.

  3. Since the peony is my favorite flower I definitely choose Sprinkled Peonies. I once paid $125 for a single tuber and it was and still is the most beautiful. We take it with us wherever we move. All of your designs are truly lovely!

  4. These are gorgeous! I would make a swingy raglan top out of the large peony print with contrasting sleeves of the twinkle star berries,

  5. Love the climbing posies. And while I would probably make a long circle skirt out of it, it might work for a shower curtain that can be easily washed or I can see the twinkleberries as a cute throw.

  6. Stunning designs! I love every pattern. Wish it was available in South Africa, I would make t-shirts or draped skirts.

  8. Climbing posies is my favourite and since you're not into garment making I often used to use knits to make pillowcases and flat bed sheets.

  11. Sounds crazy but I make little doggie sweaters for my fires chinese hairless dog. She just needs a little bit of cover in the winter and this weight would be just right!
