A Nightfall Parade : :

Nightfall Samples!

A big box full of the samples that I made this past Spring for my Nightfall collection Quilt Market booth and LookBook was returned to me this past week. Most of the items I shared here on the blog while they were being created, but a few of them didn't get their turn in the spotlight just yet, so my plan is to photograph those items to share soon. While I unpacked each piece, I was dreaming up a flock of new project ideas featuring Nightfall!

Freshly Cut

I had hoped to organize a blog tour similar to the one I had for Fleet & Flourish, but with International Fall Quilt Market coming so soon and the release of a new collection from me coming by the end of next month, eek! I've decided to try something new, a "Nightfall Parade!"

A parade?  Why yes! I'm going to sew up as many new items as I can featuring Nightfall over the next couple of weeks. During the parade they'll be chances to win prizes with a HUGE Nightfall Giveaway at the end for those of you who follow along! My plan to start the parade this coming Monday, October 17th leading me to the big, full reveal my next collection!

Nightfall Pillow Samples!

I guess I better get busy, but before I do, what would you like to see made using Nightfall? I always love your ideas! Pillows, quilts, bags, etc... Do you have any patterns you've been wanting to pair up with this collection? I won't be sewing garments since that's not really my thing, so keep that in mind when you kindly offer your suggestions. I think this is going to be a ton of fun!!

Art Gallery Fall Season Sneak Peeks!

Be sure to follow my Instagram today for the first sneak peek of my collection due out next month! It's an exciting day!!

  1. I feel like this line needs something whimsical... Maybe some fun applique and mixing techniques. Like HST's and String piecing or something. Just have fun being your creative self :) You always come up with something brilliant and beautiful.

    1. I'm with Amy; a bunny would be great to go with the owl and the dragonfly.

  3. I'm not sure but the owl and the dragonfly are absolutely bueautiful are they embroidered or applique? Maybe a butterfly, to go along with the theme of the other two pillows... but I love the designs on the pillows!

  13. I can't get enough of your pillows. They are just such fun and just the right size to enjoy without months of work (for those of us who only get to sew on weekends after the chores and at quilt retreats). Can't wait for your parade to start (a reason to look forward to Monday).
