Do you remember this start? It's the Modern Chrysanthemum block I designed to be the center medallion of a new quilt pattern idea I had back in March. I was so excited about where I was headed with this one and somehow it still managed to get lost in the shuffle for a little while!
Then my friend Julie, owner of The Intrepid Thread, suggested a new plan for it that I'm so excited to share with all of you today!
Several weeks ago I sent my block to Julie and she recreated the medallion using newly available fabrics, featuring my newest collection Fleet & Flourish, to be the start of a brand new 2016 Magic Friendship Block of the Month exclusive to the Intrepid Thread!

Maureen, this is such a great idea. I have one question, that I just posted to The intrepid thread's post, is it open to international friends also? If yes, do you know how much it would cost monthly for shipping to Greece? Thank you in advance. I'm posting it to both sites, just because it's a last minute question and I would really love to take part in this.

Hello ladies, just wanted to let you know that I am almost done sewing the friendship medallion quilt top, and I was wondering if you have any suggestions on how to quilt it. It has so many different kind of borders and designs, it is a bit intimidating to begin. Plus I cannot find any inspiration from other quilters who finished it. Do you have any suggestions? It is amazing by the way!! worth the time and effort.
