  8. Don't you just love sunflowers? I fell in love with them after visiting the Van Gogh museum in Amsterdam.
Also, thanks for your reply to my earlier question about this quilt with respect to getting the patchwork sashing to fit sharply at the corners. You adjusted the solid border to make it fit.
Also, I see another person has commented and suggested the giveaway winner be noted on a sidebar. It would make it easier than having to scroll waaaay back each time. Or simply announce the winner in the first blog following the giveaway!
And P.S. now that you've done the math figuring on this quilt--a tutorial or pattern would be nice.

  9. So beautiful! The quilt, the field, the collection of vases… so calm and peaceful. :) I hope you don't mind that I "borrowed" two of the photos. Not to sell, not to print, not even to repost; just for me to have that feast for the eyes, where I know I can find it, to revisit over and over again.

  13. I think this quilt is one of my favorites of yours. It's hard to decide because all your quilts are so beautiful! I would love to make one like this. Will there be a pattern? Your fabric choices are spot on. I'd love to have that sunflower field in my backyard. Fabulous ;c)

  14. [sing] One of these things is not like the other one... :)

The flowers are beautiful and make a great backdrop to your quilt top. The colours in the quilt top look right at home amongst all that yellow.

  19. Love your quilt. It has an old fashion feel to it....without using 30's/40's fabric (not my favourite).
It looks like the kind of quilt my grandmother would have had (if she ever had one...I really don't remember growing up seeing ANY quilts at my relatives). I have taken up the torch and am trying to give a quilt to all my nieces and nephews. Love it so much!!
