In the Sunshine!

This morning, after another snow storm, the sun is shining bright and beautifully through the window onto my newest finished quilt top. I couldn't resist taking a few quick shots to share here quickly before I dive into etsy orders!

  7. What a cheerful and gloriously rich quilt top. My Gypsy husband said lovely things as he walked behind me and looked at it. And your floor initiated a discussion of when we should do our floors (soft pine so not Hard wood but wood all the same) and then that segued into a new couch !~! Thanks so much, Maureen for posting these pictures this morning !~!

  13. I LOVE it! Does the ribbon make the quilt feel stiffer in those spots?

  18. Gorgeous! You mentioned it's QAYG-- did you do each 60" long strip separately? I definitely want to do something similar and I don't want any y-seams!

Also, your use of the ribbons is genius with this pattern. I love it.

  20. This is beautiful, when you use ribbons, do you sew over the fabric to put them in?

  21. Such a pretty quilt!
I just happened upon your IG page and blog and needed to peek at your projects.
Where do you shop for fabric in PA? I'm in NJ but go thru PA often....

  22. Beside the fact that I love love love all AMH fabric, I really love how you constructed this quilt! And with the ribbon. Wow. My only question is how the quilt will wash with the ribbon in it. Did you prewash anything? Will the ribbon maybe shrink a little more, causing puckering, yikes! It does cause me some concern there.
