What a wonderful weekend! Kevin and I took a little road trip down to Harrisburg for him to run the marathon. He had trained all Summer for the Erie Marathon back in September, but unfortunately tore a calf muscle during a long run just a few weeks before. He worked so hard to rehab and thankfully felt strong enough to run. Since he started running a few years ago he made qualifying for Boston his goal, and he did it!! It was amazing to see and we are all sooo proud! I shared lots of snapshots of our trip on my Instagram, which I especially love for special moments like this one!
Today, Haila is home with a cold, keeping me company while I play catch-up! Right now I'm having two sales -- A Wool Blend Felt sale with Coupon Code: FELT20OFF and if you mention with your order that you love scraps, I'll include a generous designer fabric scrap bundle with your order!
And, a Fox Pillow flash sale that ends tonight, with Coupon Code: SAVE5 for $5 off any Fox Pillow Cover and you'll receive a FREE pillow insert, too!!
I wish you all a great start to your week! ♥ Maureen
Congratulations to your husband on such an accomplishment.

ReplyDeleteThanks Sharon! I'm hoping to hang that in our house sometime this week! You can find the tutorial here -- it was such a great project that the kids and I did together! http://maureencracknellhandmade.blogspot.com/2011/09/celebrate-color-felt-leaf-garland.html
DeleteCongratulations to the hubby! I followed it all weekend on Instagram! I know he has got to be so proud. That is one HUGE accomplishment!
ReplyDeleteGreat felt projects, cool fox!
ReplyDeleteCongrats to your husband! That is a great accomplishment! If you travel with him to Boston definitely check out GatherHere in Cambridge. It is the best modern fabric store around here and they have lots of other crafty items there too. And if you need suggestions for places to eat, stay, etc let me know.
ReplyDeleteHow exciting to have such a great finish and to qualify for the Boston Marathon!!! Kevin must be on a high still!
ReplyDeleteThanks!
ReplyDeleteCongrats to your hubby! That is quite the accomplishment and I know you are so proud of him!
ReplyDeleteCongrats to him! I got offered the chance to do the London Marathon after doing the Glasgow half 3 times, but my doc told me no more running because of the joint problems I have, so now I have to cheer from the sidelines!
ReplyDeletePS, I'm just back from a very last minute week away to that really remote place we were talking about, I'm blaming it all on you ;o)
