Settling In : :

It's a little hard to type and sew with a sweet face puppy on my lap, but I did manage to get fifteen of the thirty blocks I'll need for my new quilt finished!

Ah, to have such problems....!

I should warn you all now, if week two with Penelope is anything like week one has been, my space here could quickly turn into a puppy blog!

I wish you all a beautiful weekend! Don't forget to stop back tomorrow for a new Fabric Friday Giveaway!!   Maureen

    1. Thank you Carla! We are so in love with her and she is so photogenic, I've probably taken more than a 100 pictures already! Of course I've thought of making her a little quilt, but she has already chosen one of our fleece and furry throw blankets to snuggle in. I think I'll pick up some of that Minky next time I'm at Joann and see if I can make her something just as comfy!

    1. He REALLY is!! He's sleeping now, while Penny sleeps, since he's the one that got up with her last night. It's almost like having a baby again, we're loving it!

  5. She sure is a "sweetie"...my yochon had 3 puppies last fall and letting them go to their forever homes was hard...but knowing the love and joy their new family's would experience made it all worth while. It's been such a joy seeing your new puppy, Thank you for sharing!!!

  28. She's so sweet, and I wouldn't mind and at all if this did become a craft/puppy blog. Our dog passed away due to cancer, and we now have a surrogate long haired Dachshund (he belongs to my MIL) We've been staying with her and helping her out, she 86 years young. I want another beagle, but we will have to wait till we can get back into our home. So we will love the little Tazzy (little man) until then.

  29. Lil P is so absolutely adorable. I can see why you are so taken with her. What a great little pal to have around. My daughter was here with her new toy Maltese, Winnie, a few months ago and I have to say I miss that little face being around so much I'm contemplating getting one of my own. Enjoy!
