Hooray! I finished my qayg quilt last night and I can't wait to photograph it! However, the weather this morning is very much like the morning I froze attempting to take some pics of my Glimma Quilt, lesson learned -- I'm waiting! And instead, I spent the last hour making some new quilt plans! Want to see what I have in mind?

Do you already have a pattern in mind ?
ReplyDeleteI love the Tsuru bundle and am thinking to get a few prints so my vote goes to Tsuru !
I do! For the Tsuru I have been wanting to make something with framed centered and off-centered squares. I'm always inspired by one of my favorite quilters Faith @Fresh Lemon Quilts, she does this often and I always love it!
DeleteI love the colors and patterns of the first set Micromod!
ReplyDeleteMicroMod & Essex Linen. I would jump on that in a hurry and make the fabric in the top left corner of the picture the MAIN focus. I love that piece of fabric... Send me your scraps!
ReplyDeleteThat's why I bought extra of that print! I love it!!
DeleteMy vote ~ Micromod and Essex Linen! What's the pattern you have in mind?
ReplyDeleteI've got yards of the black Essex Linen ~ love that stuff!
I'm really wanting to so something improv, since these are so modern to me? What do you think?? I''m open to suggestions! :)
DeleteI have some more of this minen in my cart at Pink Castle, while she is having her sale. I'm trying to pinch my pennies, though... it's so hard to resist!!
Oooh, fantastic piles, Maureen! I don't believe I've seen anyone do anything with Tsuru yet, so that gets my vote.
ReplyDeleteI would use the Tsurut & Pure Elements, the colors are calling my name to be something. All of the fabrics are fantastic, I think I would have the same problem.
ReplyDeleteOOH, tough to choose. I love the Micro Mod and the Tsuru! We haven't seen a lot of navy blue going around, be different and use the Tsuru!
ReplyDeleteOooh...tough one indeed! But the colors of Tsuru really jumped at me - I think that at this time of the year when everything is mostly white and pale, I start craving colors...ha, ha!
ReplyDeleteAlso, I just played a bit more with my Squares and Shadows design in EQ and these would be so perfect for that! If you need a pattern to get you going just let me know - it is all written up (since I did teach it in my LQS) and blocks can be 3 different sizes.
Hmm..now I have to go look for that Tsuru fabric...;)
The upper left MicroMod print fascinates me (kind of like a lava lamp, I just want to keep staring at it.....). That bundle really wants to be first! :)
ReplyDeletefabulous eye candy. Love the Micro Mod and Linen
ReplyDeleteI love the Tsuru and Pure Elements.
ReplyDeleteI say the Tsuru mixed with the Essex linen.
ReplyDeleteI vote the Micro Mod and Essex Linen. I love that combination! I need to add more Essex Linen to my stash.
ReplyDeleteI think Tsuru. I love the Micromod and those are the colors I generally tend towards, but I am loving that Tsuru. My vote is for Tsuru.
ReplyDeleteSo so lovely... just swim in them ;-)
ReplyDeleteEsther.
Tsuru has my vote, too :)
ReplyDeleteMicromod!
ReplyDeleteI vote for micro mod. Totally love those prints.
ReplyDeleteTsuru time!

ReplyDeleteThat Tsuro bundle is beautiful. I want some too
ReplyDeleteTsuru all the way!!! Love those colors so much! =D
ReplyDeleteTsuru gets my vote, with Micromod pulling in as a very close second. Love the Essex linen with the Micromod.
ReplyDeleteMe too on the linen with the MicroMod!! I bought a couple yards of it and an extra 1/2 yard of the Tick Tock print on the left. I'm thinking something very modern and improv for that quilt, but yes Tsuru is first!!
DeleteI would have to see the pattern to decide between MicroMod and Tsuru. They are both equally fab. Sorry, simpatico.
ReplyDeleteTsuro just calls to be with those Pure Element pals. Can't wait to see what you come up with!
ReplyDeleteMicromod gets my vote!
ReplyDeleteYou have your hands on Tsuru already?! Lucky lady.
ReplyDeleteMicromod, for sure!
ReplyDeleteOn dreary day like the one I have here, I'd be cutting into Simpatico. Have fun : )
ReplyDeleteSmart lady! I wouldn't go out in the cold either! Sorry. I'm no help here. I would love ALL those lines! Haven't seen much done with Tsuru yet, so that could be a very inspirational quilt, but I LOVE Simpatico. So light and airy and lovely.
ReplyDeleteMicroMod and Essex Linen!! The moment I saw MicroMod I knew I had to have some. I would love to see what you create using these fabrics! Will have to place an order for some soon :)
ReplyDeleteI felt the same way about MicroMod! When Beth from Stash Fabrics suggested it for our giveaway the other week, when I saw the photo of it, I went right ahead and used her coupon code to buy myself this bundle with the Essex. It's such a special and unique collection. I think my husband and boys will love a MicroMod quilt, too, which is always nice! :)
Deletethe simpatico feels like spring to me!
ReplyDeleteI love the rich colors of the Tsuru stack!!
ReplyDeletetsuru is so happy! Actually all are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteMy vote is for something by Cloud 9 Fabrics!! LOL
ReplyDeleteDefinitely the Tsuru....I cannot WAIT to see the end result!! Have fun!
ReplyDeleteOhhh...I just got the MicroMod and I LOVE that Essex Linen with it. YUM-O! My hubs has mentioned a quilt and I thought the MicroMod might be a good one for him. Yes/No?? Can't wait to see what you do with yours.
ReplyDeleteYes, definitely!! It was designed by a guy, Rob Bancroft, and I think it works perfect for a man-quilt! It does has purple, but paired with the black, grey, orange, and teal it's very manly!! :)
DeleteI cant wait to see the finished quilt Maureen!
ReplyDeleteI'd pick the Micromod & Essex Linen to cut in to personally! Lovely fabric!
Had a delivery of new fabric today! So yummy :)
Micromod & Essex (but their all gorgeous). Just tons of potential there. Excited to see what you do with it all!
ReplyDeleteI'm just drooling over that stack of Tsuru. I can't wait until those lovely prints are available!
ReplyDeleteMicromod and Essex linen. Can't wait to see what you do with them! eliz.i@sympatico.ca
ReplyDeleteWow, wow, wow! They are all great! I am torn between the Micromod and the Tsuru. I think it all depends on the pattern. Can't wait to see what you come up with
ReplyDeleteThanks!! This morning I did have a solid quilt pattern idea for both the MicroMod and Tsuru collection, not Simpatico, so I decided to start with Tsuru. I'm so glad I did, I'll be sharing it soon!! :)
DeleteMicromod is awesome!
ReplyDeleteMy vote is for Micromod. It feels wintery to me so now's the time to do it (am I the only one who does this?). The Tsuru is also nice, but you know I love linen, so once you threw that in the mix, I had to vote Micromod. All lovely piles though, you can't really make a wrong choice.
ReplyDeleteI love the Simpatico!! But all the fab fabrics are lovely!!! Can't wait to see what you make with them!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks Jan!! I have decided on a pattern for both the Tsuru and MicroMod and ended up cutting into the Tsuru first! What pattern would you suggest for Simpatico? I'd love any suggestions, I still can't decided?! :)

ReplyDeleteI would like to see what you do with the Micromod and Essex Linen. I need to make a manly quilt by July and I'm looking for inspiration.
ReplyDeleteWell I love the Essex linen and the Pure Elements...so I am no help at all!
ReplyDeleteI seem to be outvoted here, but I'd love to see what you do with the Simpatico!
ReplyDeleteI think the Tsuru would make a beautiful quilt. Really like all the bundles.
ReplyDeleteI decided to start with the Tsuru! I'm just two blocks in and I'm already loving it with the Pure Elements, I'm excited!!
DeleteI think I'm in the minority, but I love the Simpatico. They're all gorgeous though!!
