Just last night I finished up my bright raspberry, hot pink Bottled Rainbows Quilt Block!
This one was fun! I let my daughter pick the color for my new block and help with choosing which scraps to use. A little compromise. I just wanted to sew! I thought the shape of the fabric scraps in the four corners worked really well with the raspberry theme.
It's mostly Good Folks scraps, no surprise there!
This makes six blocks finished for my quilt, Hooray!
How about you? What have you been working on? I'd love to see!
Yours is going to be my absolute favorite of the bottled rainbows quilts. I love the way you are doing your blocks!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful!! I just want to copy each of your blocks!! :)
ReplyDeleteIt is beautiful! I love the colour. Great choice daughter :)
ReplyDeleteLove it! I can't wait to see the rest.
ReplyDeleteI love rainbow themed crafts :) I mostly got a twin sized quilt done over the long Labor Day weekend. The only thing left is to hand sew the binding down and then it's off to the washer/dryer :) You can see a picture of the quilt top over on my blog.
ReplyDeleteI love how its looking! And all the fabrics are soooo pretty! I just finished my bottled rainbow quilt today - I'm so proud!
ReplyDeleteThat's going to be an awesome quilt! I've been working on an hourglass block quilt with Oopsey Daisy Fabric by Keiki.
ReplyDeleteI completely agree with Jessica - by FAR my favourite Bottled Rainbow blocks. Hands down.
ReplyDeleteAMAZING!!! Love your colors.
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful!! I can't wait to see it all finished!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty, and your cat is beautiful!!
ReplyDeleteI agree it's my favorite bottled rainbow too. I'm going to do shapes too when I get around to starting it :)
