Progress : :

I added the stitching to this little project I had shared on Monday. Since I snapped this photo it's come a l-o-n-g way! Her and a three other sketch-stitchy appliqued quilt blocks have made up what will be my my second quilt top. I am so excited about it! I need to add a border to what I have so far, in a solid color (which I don't have yet) and then I'll be ready to take more photos.

Progress

You might remember this little project I shared way back on the 1st of September?!  In it's previous wip state it received lots of love here and on Flickr. And I was so happy with it, I just left it alone and forgot about it altogether. Although long overdue, finally I decided it was time to be finished!

Fall Fox Applique Pillow

It was made with Celebrate Color in mind. The colors feel so very Fall to me. The fabric for the back was actually chosen with this poem in mind, "Autumn is a second spring when every leaf is a flower." Isn't that pretty!

There has been much progress with my Birthday Crown orders, too. With these, that old saying "When it rains, it pours" totally applies. I enjoy making them still, so it's all good! When you see that they've disappeared from my shop and in that little sidebar etsy ad over there to your right, you'll know. Yup, I've had enough. :)

Birthday Crowns

This one is my new, new favorite. Do you think it's possible for me to fit one more thing on this little crown? I mean really! And, it's reversible!

B, airplane, and birds crown

It's amazing how much time I have spent sewing lately. Thankfully, no one seems to mind. (Can you hear me knocking on wood!)

Have a lovely Wednesday, everyone!

  7. Adorable projects you are working on/and have completed! I wish I had half as much as time you have to sew so many things. Being a college student really cuts down sewing time.

  9. I love how the colors of the little girl and the background fabric match the knobs on your desk. Was that on purpose? :) I also adore that little fox! I may need to get one to come live with me sometime! He is just perfect in that Innocent Crush fabric!
