Owl Parade --- Day Three : :

Day three of the owl parade! This one is my personal favorite so far. I think it can work as either a boy or a girl doll. I used some of my Jeanne Morrison Fireworks Fabric, that I have used on another favorite owl and an alien doll. I wish I would have gotten a better picture, but this doll and it's friends are already on their way to hello Bluebird. If you have been following, you know I have recently started embroidering, well...everything. I am really enjoying adding that element to these little guys - it's so fun!

The kids are always eager to help with choosing the yarns and the fabrics, and so it's only fair that they get to name them. Kaiden named this little guy -
Oliver Owl :

For the Owl Doll Giveaway, leave your comment and keep coming back each day to do the same!

Happy creating everyone!!!

  13. Oliver is precious! I know how you feel about embroidering everything :) I just revived the skills I learned when I was about 8 (um, a long time ago!) and I'm so addicted it's not even funny. I wish I could claim I have a huge arsenal of stitches under my belt, but I need more practice.

  20. Oliver is by far my favorite sweet little owl. Its buggy eyes are my favorite part and definitely adds to his. I can tell he has sneaky personality like he wants to fly off and get into trouble.

Love the 2 different fabrics on his flappers! Kuddos to your kiddos for choosing the most perfect name.
