I'd use the purple and orange colorway for a quilty wall hanging for my sewing room, or the green colorway for new pillow covers for my living room or the red colorway for a new dining room table runner or the blue colorway as new quilty placemats for my mother in law...man, I got plans for all of 'em ;)

  35. I love Simply Color! I know that I wouldn't make anything with it for awhile. I'd set it in my cabinet and stare at it's cute-ness and not want to cut into it. Then I'd use it to make pillows and a lap quilt for my couch since I just bought new slipcovers!

  68. I am giving my daughter(15 years old) sewing lessons for Christmas... so this would go to her. She has been asking to learn for a couple years now and I want to encourage her creative side. The fabrics are beautiful and right up her alley!

  70. I just bought a refurbished sewing machine. I am a self taught seamstress. Had to learn to sew years ago, I am a single mom of 6 kids and made most of their clothes and then mine, when I went back to school to become a nurse. Lost my sewing machine in a flood and finally replacing it. I need material now to try it out!

  78. I have been waiting since september for the V and Co simply color. I will make placemats like paint swatches (see moda recipes for instruction, absolutley stunning), and blanket with the ombre. Love it Love It! I've called local shops and they don't have it yet.
