My plan was to make pillowcases out of these for my bedroom, but when my very best friend told me how much she loved them, I had to make her a pillow!

It was a good excuse for me to practice my quilting.

Straight lines scare me!

I love the back. If I had enough fabric, I'd make a set using just these two prints as the front for another pillow.

And, maybe even one more for myself...

Happy sewing!

Nice! Love the color palate!
it turned out so beautiful! I really love this Echo fabric.
Great job! I love the fabric, especially the back. What fabric did you use on the back?
cute! I thought these were supposed to be for a bed quilt for your bedroom? pillows are great though, do you use a pillow form inside or just stuff it?
I knew it - very pretty. I'm even more determined to turn my Echo stash into a large quilt for our bedroom, now, when I find the time. Hopefully I can manage it until our wedding in August, seems ludicrous, though.
And, for what it's worth, straight lines scare me, too! :)
Your Echo pillow is just gorgeous. Those fabrics are wonderful in it.
Just beautiful, I love it!
Thanks Katy! The back is more Echo! You can find them in the shop of my sponsors Fresh Squeezed Fabrics and The Intrepid Thread!
Great pillows, I love how you quilted it using turquoise/ aqua thread. I usually go with just white for quilting, I really should get out of my comfort zone and try something new. It definitely makes it more interesting.
Very nice! Loving it!
You're friend's a lucky lady :) You really made those prints shine. ( and I already was admiring yesterday's fox!)
Very lovely Maureen. I love that Echo fabric.
Really like this, I haven't cut into my Echo yet-might have to do something like this with it.
Beautiful pillow! (Love the chair too!)
Looks like a wonderful pillow! You have a lucky friend. :)
