My Lime Block for my Bottled Rainbow Quilt is finished!
I've decided to do each of the green blocks in a different tree design. I think it still goes nicely with the Mandala theme of the other blocks and I really love doing tree and leaf applique, so this one was really fun for me!
Here's the reverse side. I don't know about you, but I have developed this obsession with making the back of my blocks look as nice and neat as I possibly can. Yes, I know that no one is going to see them but still!
My seven year old was in the sewing room with me on this particular morning as I finished, he's always my early riser. Since it was just us, I let him use my fancy camera. He mostly took pictures of all my "stuff" but also a couple of me busy sewing and this picture of me with my new block. Hello! It's a bit blurry, but most of his pictures were actually very good!
Here you can see the others -- my Teal Block, my Pumpkin Petals, my Buttercup Sunburst, and my Ruby Love birds. Five down, eleven to go!
How about you -- what are you working on these days? Add a link if you have one, I'd love to see!
P.S. Don't forget to enter my Giveaway to win an Accuquilt Go! Baby Fabric Cutter!!!

ReplyDeleteM, I'm behind on my blog reading, so I've just come across this. What a lovely tree. Quite fitting that it's framed! Also, I'm glad your little one captured an image of you. I bet he's proud that you chose to share it here.
