Modern Chrysanthemum - Waiting
This week I haven't had a single day for free sewing. I had an Etsy shop pile-up and each day has been spent filling my birthday crown and fox pillow orders. Today I have to make three pillows and two crowns. Usually I don't mind so much, but when there's so many cheerful, quilty projects in the works waiting for my attention, Etsy sewing truly feels like work!

Color Spectrum - Waiting
Thankfully, my Wanderlust Quilt binding session was just enough motivation to keep me going, and I love the way it turned out! Having a finished quilt waiting to be photographed to share and such a pretty rainbow of projects hanging around does help clear my cloudy mood and this cloudy weather!

How about you, what are you working on these days?   ♡ Maureen

  1. There really is nothing quite like seeing a finished quilt sitting waiting for it's photo shoot is there :) Congrats on all the recent Etsy sales recently and while wishing you success in that department I hope you get to come up for some fun quilty sewing soon!

  3. I still can't get enough of that color spectrum block, really looking forward to seeing it come together. I hope next week will see you making quilts to your heart's content!

I'm stalling on two quilts and can't seem to get motivated - a grecian square quilt and isosceles triangles. Maybe next week things will start to happen?

  7. I can't wait for you to get into your colour spectrum quilt tooooo! Its so gorgeous. I'm working on a quilt with fabrics which are a bit garish for me but my friend will love. So each time I look at it and my eyes bluge out of my head I'm reminded of how different we are from each other but how loyal we are as friends and it makes me smile.
