Elephant Pillow Parade : :

Alright, back to sewing! Although there is very little evidence here, I actually have been sewing quite a bit. Those birthday crown orders continue to come, I have been experimenting a bit with new ideas, and I even had my little sister sewing the other day. She made her first...guess what?...Yes, pillow! She did great and I feel terrible that I didn't take pictures of the event. Since my old fancy camera decided to die on me, I've altogether forgone that very important step? The good news -- I have a new camera on the way! We're hoping it's here by Friday, my birthday

The other day I decided to open my little sketchbook and bring one of my million ideas to reality. With babies on my mind, my sister's due at the end of the month, I thought a nursery room pillow sounded like time well spent. What I ended up with are my new Elephant Applique Pillows. One made mostly of soft, wool felt, with a sweet birdie. The other a combination of felt and fabric, with a cute, flower detail.
