Sew Awesome 2 : : Kaiden's First Hoop

I have been meaning to post the story of Kaiden's first hoop. Unfortunately, I waited too long and my camera up and quit on me, so here it is, without the very last finished photo...it will be added soon enough.

I had each of the boys sketch out a simple idea first, and Kaiden went with "A Happy Mushroom"....oh, I love this kid!

Both of the boys said it made them feel "like old ladies..." Ahem, excuse me! :)

Kaiden took a few days to finish his...which was perfectly fine. I am still amazed at how well he and Jacob did and am pretty sure that hoop embroidery has found it's permanent place on our list of favorite family crafts.

Wishing you all a Happy Monday!
