Flowers and Felt Garland : :

One of the only materials that I use A LOT in my crafts, that isn't a natural material, is Eco-fi felt. It is made right here in the USA, from recycled post-consumer plastic bottles, and comes in a wonderful variety of colors. And, one of the crafts I LOVE to do most (usually with the kids) is to make some sort of garland. We do this several times a year, often with a new idea right before each holiday, and it's such a simple and sweet craft to me. I've been looking at those faric flowers, sitting nicely in my favorite glass bowl on the shelf, for a little more than a week now. Although I had planned to add them to my dollhouses or Mini Totes, they ended up on a strand of garland instead. I decided to use them and some other little things lying around, to make this strand for a friend to add to her daughter's newly decorated bedroom.

If you are interested in making your own felt garland Anna Maria Horner has a great tutorial on how to make this felt circle garland that is so simple and easy, using cut out felt circles and blanket stitch.

Would love for you to share your own garland ideas or any links to show a favorite strand of garland you have seen.
