The other fabrics are from a custom bundle I had put together for Pink Castle Fabrics, which is sold out and many of the exact fabrics aren't available anymore. You could email them and see if they could put something similar together for you? There were so many ways to approach and how you described it in Part one looks like it could be much simpler. I am waiting eagerly for your detailed instructions! As for 505...love the stuff. I have no patience for pin-basting unless it's small, so spray basting is a must for me. My only tip is to take your time to make sure everything is smooth. Otherwise there's really nothing to it. I do my spraying in our laundry room, which has a crummy old linolium floor so I don't care about the overspray and such. Can't wait to see how it goes!Debhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15330376751008519274noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3133349480262766438.post-18934173792180062722013-01-17T22:38:59.139-05:002013-01-17T22:38:59.139-05:00What a lovely quilt top! I haven't pin basted in at least six months, and I don't see myself returning any time soon. So practical ...no need to pin ...it sticks well but you can still reposition your fabric if needed ...it doesn't go away even if you take a long time to quilt after applying it ...no nasty smell ...great for applique ...doesn't stain !!!! I have found it isn't just spray and stick. I have found you do need to organize yourself with it. I find that starting in the middle of the quilt and working outward instead of from one end to the other does best for me. Make sure that middle is secure and the rest falls in place easily. I still use 1,1/2" safety pins to hold while FMQ'ing but those are more for just holding the seams in place and straight. I love it!Cheri the Quilting Nannyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06961524021921403281noreply@blogger.com
