Off to Quilt Market!

We are off...well almost! Come early morning we'll begin our road trip to Houston for International Quilt Market. In just a few days, these pillows and many more will fill my very first Quilt Market booth space!

Off to Quilt Market!

Tonight it's impossible for me to share in words all that I'm feeling right now. Just so much emotion over all of it! When I had learned that I most likely would not have any of my Wild & Free fabrics delivered before market, I was really beginning to doubt myself. I was unsure of how I could fill my booth space with just one small strike off of just seven prints. Then somehow, as I went down the list of things I hoped to make, adjusting each to work with what I had, with so much help from my stash of Art Gallery solids, blenders, and prints that coordinate with my collection from other AGF designers, everything was actually coming together. Then my knits came in and with lots of last minute sewing by several talented folks, together we managed to stock my booth with Wild & Free garments & bag samples to add to all the quilty projects I've been working on these past few weeks.

There have been some ups & downs, of course, but overall I really have loved this process. I can't wait to finally put all the pieces together!

I'll be sharing more in the days ahead, so be sure to stop back, and if you're at market please do come visit me at my booth!

Have a great week!     Maureen

  10. Even though you've not had as much of your fabric to work with, what you've made is exquisite and total eye candy. The picture of the pillows is swoon worthy. I rarely buy full sets of fabric because I prefer to do scrappy projects but I sat and looked at the pillows and thought I'd get just that print, and that print, and maybe that print... And now I'm planning on getting all of it and AGF Pure Elements to complement it. Best of luck to you, Maureen, at Market. You are a true artist as well as a popular and caring blogger and you deserve every ounce of success I'm sure you'll achieve. And, from one girl who misses her dad to another, I know your dad is cheering you on from heaven.
