Another Felt Sewing Weekend : :

Good morning! So much sewing went down here over the weekend, especially yesterday! Since I reopened my etsy shop early last month, it's been remarkably busy and amazing!! The last few weekends have been spent working on an assembly line of crown making, with this past weekend being the busiest yet! I know that many of those orders begin here, and I thank you for that!

Having some finished Fox Pillows to share is always something I look forward to. I finished up three late last week, with three more almost finished to be listed in my shop very soon!

Mr. Fox

A Mr. Fox finished with this wonderful, aqua print I stashed awhile ago from The Intrepid Thread. I have it in both this aqua and in a yellow. I do love it!

Aqua Back

This Fox is on a personal favorite, new felt color that I just ordered. It's named Baby Blue, but it definitely reads less blue, more pale aqua to me. I love it! This one is for a friend that I've made right here through this blog. She's expecting her first baby very soon!! YAY!

Fox Pillow

I finished the back in some fun patchwork I had left over from my Patchwork Baby Letter Quilt. I hope you like it, Elise!!

Patchwork Back

Other than those fun foxes, it was all about crowns! This was the stack waiting to be finished Sunday morning!

Sunday Crown Making

Seventeen were for one customer, a 3 year old's Birthday Party with lots of lollipop appliques!

Lollipop Crowns

Thank goodness my best friend came over Friday to help with all my cutting! And, for my little Sunday helper, who would match up the finished crown with the right envelope!

My Sunday Helper!

I ran myself right out of most of the supplies I need to make these crowns, so today I'm going to restock and finish up my QAYG quilt, finally!!!

Happy Monday!  Maureen

    1. I do lots of adult crowns -- bride to be, baby shower, birthday, etc! I just need that specified, so I can make the crown sides a little longer. :) I made one for a woman who turned 100 recently -- AMAZING!!

    3. I feel like a machine!! My friend and I did discuss the idea of me actually advertising for these crowns somewhere, like a popular party site, etc..and if I could handle it if I were this busy all the time? It's definitely something to think about. :)
