Project Plans : :

Over the weekend I planned and organized all my projects for this week! I'm finally feeling like myself again, thank goodness!!

I'll be sharing a first quilt block tutorial this Wednesday, as part of Daisy Janie's New Leaf Bee Block Blog Hop! It's a gorgeous, vibrant collection made of 100% GOTS certified organic cotton.

New Leaf Pretties

The backing fabric for my QAYG quilt arrived from Sprightly Fabrics, LillyBelle Henna Stripe in grey -- now I can't wait to finish this quilt!!

Quilt back fabric is here!

There's a stack of Riley Blake Cotton Dots, in a wonderful boyish color scheme, waiting to become my next Design Team project!

For my next RBD Design Team Project!

A pillow cover is hanging out, ready to be quilted and finished for a friend. It's made up of some Architecture and Velocity from Lark Cottons, using my tutorial here!

I received my very, first Felt orders over the weekend, which is so, SO exciting!

My First Felt Order! Yay!!

Right now, I'm including a little sample stack with each order. And, I decided to celebrate my first order with a little sale, you can use discount code FELT20OFF and take 20% off of any Felt order for a limited time!

My First Felt Order!

Today, I have a stack of Birthday Crown orders waiting to be finished for tomorrow's mail!

Lots of crown orders!

It's so cold here today! And, I actually love it! The kiddos are home for the holiday, and so we have a movie marathon planned -- which means lots of popcorn and handwork for me!

Happy Monday, friends!  Maureen

  10. What a busy week you have! Lovely fabrics in the first pic. I would like to plan something for this week too, maybe a bag for my sister (it's her birthday next week), I just recived my order from Hawthorne threads this morning and I love my new fabrics: some Notting Hill in aqua and Pat Bravo's new collection. Have a nice week!

  11. Maureen, I so enjoyed reading this post! You are super organized for the coming week! I love the colors of that neat stack of fabric - so bright and happy. I figured out my backing for the QAYG log cabin (that I quilted with your directions!) and I am looking forward to putting it together...If this method works (i.e. is physically easier) I will be quilting away madly -- have 2 shelves of "almost done" quilts! I am so glad that you feel better - enjoy your week!

    1. Thank you! We had a lot of fun and I also got a lot done so far today, so I'm happy! I have a few hours left at my machine sewing all these crown pieces together, and hopefully I can keep up this momentum throughout the week and get all caught up! :)

Thanks for stopping by, friend! -Maureen

  24. So pretty! I'm hoping to get some Tsuru, too. My plans for the week are to work on my Indie quilt, finally...but the winter darkness seems to have me in an unmotivated slump. I suppose I need to pull out my vitamin D!
