  1. I feel like I'm just now coming up for air after a whirlwind last few days of Christmas festivities, too! Phew. Haven't sewn for a few days either, I should probably remedy that. Starting to get twitchy. Love your fabric choices on everything above!

  4. Love your pillows and book bags. I got very behind in my sewing with painting and staining carvings but am starting to make good on Christmas promises. I did get the memory quilt done for my Dad of my Stepmother's Christmas sweatshirts. He loved it.

I am so happy for you having Christmas in your new house.

    Have a happy new year!!!

  9. You've been a busy lady, my dear:) I have to tell you that my girls got to go see the Nutcracker for the 1st time earlier in the month with my mother in law. They were smitten. And they each came home with a Nutcracker....and a resolve to collect them. I immediately thought "YES! Someday my mantle will look like Maureens!" :)

  13. What a happy accident that I found your site through FB. While I did make many of my Christmas gifts for family and friends, I also made several for charity. There are ideas already swirling around in my head as I'm planning more gifts for Christmas 2013.

  17. LOVE, LOVE your projects and awesome color choices. I made all our kids fun quilts this year reflective of their own personalities and snuggle sacks for all the fur grandbabies. Handmade speaks from the heart. Thanks for all you share. (pfaffdeb@aol.com)

  18. Books are one thing I give to all the kids on my list. ALWAYS A BOOK. the book bags you've made are a wonderful addition and I think that may be what I do for their Birthdays. I managed to make a lovely big Dresden plate table-mat for my friend and an embroidered throw quilt with the "princesses" on it for a cute wee 3yr old neighbour.
This Mermaid fabric is adorable. Love it and your blog.
    Cheers, from Oshawa Ontario.

  23. Your projects are so beautiful! I love your color combinations. I made recyclable gift bags out of Christmas print fat quarters--everyone saved then and took them home. I don't know what they do with them, but I never seem to get any back. Maybe they use them for other things.
