ReplyDeleteI gifted a lot of handmade items this year. They were anything from mug hugs for friends to stuffed critters and new scarves for the kids. It's funny how the handmade items get the most love. The other things tend to get shoved to the side after the new wears off but the handmade goodies just keep getting used.

ReplyDeleteSuch cute fabric! I intended to make some pj's for my daughter, but didn't find the right fabric. Thought I'd wait until she got here and take her shopping for the fabric and to find her right size. Well, that didn't happen because we got 7 inches of snow and haven't been able to go out. There are power outages all over town and many stores closed. We were without power only for a day. I'll get some fabric and make them anyhow as soon as it clears up.
ReplyDeleteI made and gave a quilt to my DD and her husband for christmas :-) Yesterday I received an app with a pic of her on the couch under the quilt and the text: we're so happy with the quilt! :-)
