  5. What a beautiful prize! I loved to craft with my kids, and now grandkids. My nephew, fully grown, still remembers fondly the year that we made pinecone bird feeders for the birds. I still remember the mess, lol!

  18. What a sweet giveaway!!! I think the best part about doing crafty project with kids is to let them express themselves and not to guide them to achieve a 'perfect' look! As a pre-K teacher, I enjoy seeing my students get involved in the creative process! So rewarding!

  23. What a great gift set! this fall I let my 8 month old paint pumpkins with his hands--he loved it!!! as a kid I remember my mom used to get us cardboard refrigerator boxes to decorate and play in.

  33. Love it - i've ordered from stubby pencil a few times and they are so awesome! A favorite winter craft for us is snow paint - half glue, half shaving cream. Great puffy texture to make snowmen and snowy streets with paper cutouts for details.

  36. the holidays are a great opportunity for crafting, i have to confess though that we have done zero decor crafting yet this year! the kids enjoy projects but tend to be chaotic when working. i am mostly sticking with crayons as they both seem to do a lot of collateral damage while creating. yesterday they drew on large paper while i recycled a cereal box into an organizer.

  65. o man, as a homeschooling mom of 4 young as in 5 and under kids, this'd be absolutely awesome!!! Not a christmas craft, but a thanksgiving craft is what we worked on recently and I had so much fun helping them--paper plate turkeys :)

  79. I love to make Christmas crafts with my kids. Every year we decorate a Styrofoam tree and add it to our Christmas forest. We've got paper ones, fabric ones, and yarn ones so far. I just use modpodge and take our time. :) They may not all be perfect, but they make me smile.

    When I was really little I used to love when we coloured in santa's face and we got to stick cotton wool on for his beard and the pompom on his hat and our hands would get all gluey and sticky and cottony it was so much fun :)
