Tangerine, oranges, and coral really are everywhere these days, aren't they? I love it! It's such a happy, vibrant color. I am especially loving it paired with purple! When putting together this new mosaic, I had to search for another colorful house. That purple one was pinned just a little less than a million times I think! Thanks Michael!!

I love to use beautiful threads for plying my handspun yarn, especially variegated threads. Neutral colored variegated are my favorites- the hand dyed colors still shine through.

I already follow Aurifil on facebook which is how I found out about this great giveaway. I'm not sure I have a favorite color because I think every color is fantastic. I love red, but lately orange has been a favorite ever since Pat Sloan did an orange challenge a year or so ago I have loved orange. I use grey aurifil to piece with and I try to use coordinating multicolor threads to quilt with. I just love color in general!!
I would love to try these threads. My favorite thread color is beige or off white. I sew mostly with the neutrals.

Favorite thread color?? Would have to be gray for piecing a quilt together. I find it's a great neutral color.
BTW- Orange has always been my favorite color, so I am happy, happy that it's the color of the year!!
My very first sewing project when I was 12 was a button down, bowling-type shirt made of solid orange cotton. I wore that shirt proudly.

After white (and cream), I guess I would have to go with navy blue. However, I just tried invisible thread, though, and fot that particular project, it was the right choice. I am fickle... I know!

I love to quilt with brights and blacks. I seem to be making moire pink things lately too.

I don't need to win the thread but just wanted to comment to tell you that I am envious of your orange stash! I have recently become enraptured with orange myself and just can't seem to get enough of it! It makes me wonder if the hues of orange have changed somewhat this year and make them more attractive to me or if its a new found love? Needless to say...I am in love with ORANGE!! If I'm sewing things like bags, I like the thread to be contrasting and stand out but I've never tried that with quilting - always a blending in color. I'd love to be brave enough to change that!

My favorite color is blue. Strangely, I have never used blue thread in a project. I have used purple, black, white, and natural.

I love to use a rainbow or pastel color mix to machine applique around patches on kids clothes and jeans.
