It's time for a new Giveaway!
A Fab Felt Holiday Workshop and Felt Stack Giveaway!!!
A Fab Felt Holiday Workshop and Felt Stack Giveaway!!!
When Betz White asked me to participate in the blog tour for her new Fab Felt Holiday workshop on Craftsy, I was thrilled! I chose to make the Scrappy Garland and was so excited to share the wonderful project I had made following the workshop.
I have long been a fan of Betz's books, creative upcycling projects, and overall passion for being "green". She is such an inspiration to my own sewing and crafting!
Here are just a few examples of her holiday felt work.
I would also like to encourage all of you bloggers, sewists, knitters, and crafters to join Craftsy, if you haven't already. It's free to join and super easy! I recently joined myself just several weeks ago, you can find my page here, and I am so glad I did. It's such a great place to find project tutorials and patterns of all kinds, and to share your own, as well!
The Prize!
Today the folks at Craftsy are generously offering the Fab Felt Holiday Workshop to one of my readers! The giveaway winner will also get a colorful stack of my favorite wool blend felt that can be used to create the projects offered in the workshop, with plenty extra to incorporate into their own crafts! I have created a pin board on my Pinterest page called "Just For Felt" which is full of inspiration for felt crafting and sewing. Craftsy and Betz's blog are always full of both felt and sewing inspiration, as well!
You can take a peek at the Fab Felt Workshop below!
In addition -- Craftsy is offering my readers the Fab Felt Holiday workshop

Good Luck and have a great weekend!!!

I love making hats and scarfs for my family.
ReplyDeleteOne year I made snowball decorations for our Christmas tree. My husband and I had just gotten married and didn't have a lot of money to spend on decorations, so I made some. The snowballs are the stupidest little things; just styrofoam balls with white yarn wrapped around them, but I love them. They remind me of our first Christmas together!
ReplyDeleteI follow the Craftsy fb page.
ReplyDeleteI'm following them.
ReplyDeleteAnd, as always, I am a LOYAL follower of your cute blog!

ReplyDeleteI always make tons of cookies, brownies, pumpkin bread, strawberry bread, eggnog bread, and more to give away. Since I am a former pastry chef, they are all well received and never last long. But I started making stockings, and scarves, and other quick crochet goodies the past couple of years and have had some pretty good squeals of excitement there too. :)

A couple of years ago we made elves out of ribbon, wood beads and felt hats and clothing with sewn on buttons for decorating their outfits. We loved it and we use them every year now to decorate for the holiday! This year we think that your garland is a grand idea! We're excited!

ReplyDeleteI absolutely love love this giveaway because I love working with felt for the holidays. Every year for gifts I make a special bashful snowman that sits atop a roll of toilet paper for the bathroom, the cuteness of my bashful snowman is that he covers his eyes but you can open his hands and reveal his cute face. It's always been a hit when someone receives him and gets a lot of giggles. I just created a turkey fridgie out of felt for my refrigerator and I also got chuckles when I finished him. So you can tell, I love love creating with felt and I would really love winning this! :D
ReplyDeleteI love it! I want to learn everything!
